Interaction Design Foundation Johannesburg Chapter  is an initiative aligned to the mission of the quality education and quality interactions. All local chapters worldwide are run by local leaders who volunteer their time. This chapter was created by XEDRI NPC & DESIGNERD PTY LTD. We focus on design as a practice and offer our members free resources and updates around design and the process, principles and people within the industry.  We safely collect and store info you share with us. What type of information do we collect?

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way securely. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address login; e-mail address; computer and connection information. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We only collect personally identifiable information (like name, email communications); comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile which you create on this website.

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

Our initiative is hosted on a secure platform platform. The online platform that allows us to provide services to you. Your data may be stored through the platforms data storage, databases and the general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our community or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection
